- Red candle (Fire Element) -
- Water (preferably spring water, but any kind is fine) (Water Element) -
- Salt (Earth Element) -
- Incense / Blue candle (Air Element) -
- Paper (obviously) -
- What you usually use to cast a circle.
- Cast your circle.
- Rip the paper in pieces of the size you need.
- Put the water in a bowl and add the salt to it.
- Light the red candle and the incense / blue candle.
- Dip a piece of paper in the salt water, then pass it over the red candle and then over the incense / blue candle. Set it apart and repeat until you have finished your pieces of paper.
- Close your circle, letting the candles burning and leaving the bowl of salt water near the pieces of paper until the paper has dried. Blessing of the Food (Hold high platter of food) I request thee, oh great Lady, to fill these articles of food a holder of your mighty energy.
